And 'gmx' appears to be defining a user not doing that as the user leaving the input in an undefined region, a user error for having done so.If a GPIO 0 pin has input enabled, is driven high by an input signal and released, then it enters a state with considerable leakage current (120uA), and will show a voltage of about 2.2V.. It must then be pulled low by an input signal of sufficiently low impedance to overcome this leakage current before it will read the input as low, and will stop showing 2.2V at the pin.
It's basically arguing there are no such things as defects - It's always the user's fault for not expecting things to be as they are.
I'm sure there is plenty of legal opinion and case law which deals with that fallacy or sophistry using more refined language than I would.
