I would suggest a "plate" case... SBC and associated gubbins mounts to the bottom plate, which has feet on the bottom side to get it off the surface and make it not slide around. You use standoff posts to connect bottom and top plate together, so can accommodate any height of Pi and gubbins. Pi is protected for having stuff drop onto it and short things out while also having fabulous air flow.

I have a Pi 5 with this setup. It has a Pimoroni NVMe Base, a active cooler and a DAC HAT.
Ahh yeah, so just getting another plate to go on the top, something like:

In the picture the UPS is already mounted on a piece of acrylic. Maybe four stick-on feet are all that's required for a finished job.

If there are children or grown ups around who are likely to stick their fingers into the fan, one could further get a wire fan guard for that.
The Pi is hidden away on my homelab area, no children can get near it which its not a concern for safety, I guess its more from the point of view I like it when the hardware is all wrapped up nearly inside a case rather than exposed. But yeah, looks like maybe I can just put another plate on top and the sides will be open but I think that would be fine.
I had considered this case and it looks relevant, problem is im not sure the UPS items would fit under it, also the power for the Pi then comes in via the UPS hat on the side.
