Hey Everybody,
I have a problem reconfiguring my Raspberry Pi and I am really annoyed meanwhile...
First: I set up a Minecraft Server on Raspberry Pi with Docker as described in this Tutorial: https://marc.tv/minecraft-java-raspberry-pi-docker/
I configured Wifi in the "Raspberry Pi Imager" App before installing docker etc.
I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8Gb of memory.
Everything is working fine here but now I had to change the SSID of my Wifi-Network. And the trouble begins:
I tried to change the Wifi-Setting with raspi-config but I get a "There was an error running option S1 Wireless LAN" error.
After clicking finish I get an Error-Message saying: "Error: No network with SSID 'mySSID' found." (Sure mySSID is showing my real SSID)
But the SSID is definitely correct and also visible.
I found a lot of tutorials showing a possible way by changing the /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf file.
I must say that the original wpa_supplicant.conf file was not showing any configuration except:
ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev
update_config=1
I tried a lot of the old ifconfig-setups but all seem to be completely outdated and I am really frustrated now, spending hours of searching and can't find where the hell my WiFi is configured... Why does it change all the time?
Can somebody give me another hint where I can change the config?
I am so frustrated, that I just want to reinstall everything but then my whole minecraft-world will be gone...
As you already might suggest, I am no Linux user in general so please be patient... any help is welcome... thank you
