Thanks; I am indeed using bookworm.

I tried to add the parameters as mentioned in the linked thread but it has no effect: when it boot up, the Zero 2W boot up in the same exact resolution (1920x1080@60) even if I specified in the string to use 640x480@60D
I added this line right after the line "max_framebuffers=2" in the

/boot/firmware/config.txt

file; this is a fresh install of the latest image from the RPI site of the raspbian OS lite.The only thing I did was to run apt update and upgrade to get the latest packages. The Zero is connected via HDMI cable to my regular monitor as I am doing the changes as reading the high resolution text via RF is too small, so I am trying to configure this before I move it to the other screen.
