I think you may be confusing the attitude on Windows from myself (and potentially others). It's not that I consider Windows not a viable OS for PI. I don't consider it a viable OS. This is from experience of working with Windows and Linux OS's over the years.Thank you for the replies you all have given me.
Sorry if it was inappropriate to post this question on this forum. To me it seemed a logical place to ask this question. I was asking a simple question to find out what the position RPI was on this subject and if there was any traction happening to support WoA. I have been told in a somewhat rude manner by some that it is not considered a viable OS for the PI. This all rather silly really since there is WoR for doing this very thing. I came across it when I did farther research. I was mostly just curious about it and actually had no planned use for it.
This is not be flippant but Windows has caused problems I've had to make HW modifications to overcome after no one on the Windows forums could help. The problem; Windows would randomly freeze for a couple of minutes for no reason. The Task Manager would show 100% disk activity with no IO. I also don't like some of the new Windows 11 changes such as instead of changing the app for Photo management you have to change the app for every possible file extension.
I'm now wrestling with switching to a MAC on my next upgrade because I need a platform Adobe supports. I'm thinking of switching my wife to Linux the next time she needs a new computer. I moved us off Microsoft products for normal home use.
