General discussion • Which IPv6 address

Folks,

Due to an ISP change I've been forced into looking at IPv6 addressing system, my new supplier is behind a CGNAT system so my PiVPN server cannot now be made available as before with port redirection.

My supplier does support IPv6 so all may not be lost but at the moment am struggling to get my Pi seen on the internet.

My ipv6 firewall asks for the following;
Description - fairly obvious
IPv6 address - if I issue ifconfig or ip -6 addr three IPv6 addresses show, one is local, the other two are global, one global is prefix length 64, the other is 128, Which one should I use?

Another asks for port range which I obviously understand.

I have tried all three IPv6 addresses to no avail so there is another issue but before I address that issue I need to know I am using the correct IPv6 address for my firewall.

Any advice appreciated.

Geoff
