In the documentation, https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... al-filters it details that the [pi2] filter applies to both the BCM2836 boards, and the BCM2837 boards.

Lower down, it mentions the [board-type=Type] and cites the page https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... sion-codes as the source for type numbers, which are taken from the revision code.

The example given is for the CM4, board-type=0x14
This matches the Type (TTTTTTTT) bits from the revision code.

Since there is only one code for Pi 2B, (0x04) does this mean you cannot filter conditionally for the different revisions of the board which have different SOCs?

Incidentally, there is a slight discrepancy in the documentation. It shows the output of cat /proc/cpuinfo and explains that the 'Hardware' is always described as BCM2835. On 64 bookworm, this isn't displayed at all (32 bit bullseye does show it).
