Hey all,
I am very new to all of this and had a few questions I am hoping i can get some help with.
I am building a home and am wanting to add a few wall mounted monitors and was wondering if it is possible or if Raspberry pi is the best option for me. Some of the things I am wanting to do are listed below.
- 4 wall mounted monitors (the house isn't built yet so running power and any other cabling i need is possible)
- I want the monitors to be able to show
- Time
- weather
- editable monthly calendar
- when the monitor is not in use a slideshow of pictures (not necessary but a cool add on if possible)
I want the monitors to be able to have apps listed under all of the above listed. The monitors will be touch screen and I will use them to control
- multi zone sound system
- security cameras
- alarm
- ring doorbell
I appreciate the help. I am not worried about the programming, that will come later. Just worried if this is possible and what i would need at each monitor location. Also if this is a programming nightmare or pretty straight forward.
Thank you
Cody
