So, I think I have solved the problem... Could it be that the upper USB 3 port cannot handle the USB SSD and the lower USB 3 port has more power? I connected the boot SSD to the bottom port and voila, it works... I will reconnect it to its original location and then we'll see if it continues to work. ![8-)]( "Cool")
