I would translate "daily driver" to the main computer you use for the majority of your computing tasks.

I have a number of tablets, Chromebooks, and a collection of Pis. The one Pi 5 lives in my office, in an always on/always logged in operation connected via a KVM to a large monitor, keyboard and mouse and is connected to a amp and desktop speakers. It gets used daily and where I do the majority of my email and web based research. It also manages my ebooks via Calibre, streams music and video, and is my built station for images for other Pis.

Chromebooks are used most out of the house at coffee shops, and when traveling. Tablets are for media consumption in other parts of the house and reading ebooks.

Given that I would claim that (a) the Pi is my daily driver, (b) it is my main computer, and (c) is functions just fine for me as my main computer.
