Interesting idea! ThanksWhatever camera you go with, you might want to use a wide angel lens mounted reversed as macro lens (I learned that on this forum):

You will get down to 0.2µm/pixel, with 1456 pixels horizontally that is 291.2µm or 0.2912mm ...
I guess I'll probably get to that after I figure out which camera to buy
