Using stock Buster ''-fcallgraph-info' has never worked so you must have been using something more modern.

No, it worked before because the earlier build didn't include that command-line option.

When you said "A Pico build which has worked previously is now failing with cc: error: unrecognized command line option '-fcallgraph-info=su'" I assumed that meant '-fcallgraph-info' had existed for that build.

Something has added it, but if as you say it's not a change to the Pico SDK I don't know what it is.

Nor me. It does, as you say seem to be a question of where that '-fcallgraph-info=su" is coming from.

As I am using Buster and Pico SDK 1.5.1, if you can post a link to exactly what you have downloaded and are trying to build, can provide details of how to build it and what else I need, I will be happy to try that myself and report back.

One thing to try if you haven't already is to delete the './build' directory, start without that, in case it's a CMake caching issue.
