Off topic discussion • Re: Resistors - Which one and why...

I can recommend using the Project pages provided by the Foundation side.
Here is the Get Started with Physical (Python, there is also Scratch you can use), and 50Ω is fine with the Pi.

Personally, grab a nice range (see Science or Technology departments to see if they have them, if you work in a Secondary school).

If in the UK then they will have experience of this, they should have a little in Primary School, bulbs in circuits sort of thing and at KS3 in secondary school, measuring, using and the equations.

I see you as USA, so hopefully you have similar there. (Primary is up to 11yr old. Secondary is 11-16yrs with KS3 being 11-14yrs)
