I quite don't use SD cards anymore... Those I have are 32, 64, 128 GB
My USB thumb drives are usually 128 and 256 GB
My Sata and NVMe are from 128 GB to 1 TB

I have a good Samsung 1TB Sata on which I store my backups.
With a basic compression Pi-Safe will shrink a 128 GB drive after a fresh install to a 6 to 8 GB image, roughly 50% of the used space on the drive. This takes roughly 30 minutes. It could be even more compressed but it takes longer. This ratio is good for me.

Obviously if you have 80GB of video files on this drive, the backup image will be huge too. But we were talking about creating fresh system images, all set and ready to deploy... Typically this takes about 10 to 15 GB of space on your drive (unless you install tons of apps)

IMHO you shouldn't spend too much on this particular YT channel...
