Re: feature requests.

These do get fairly quickly locked down, but probably not for the reason most people think. Most think it because we don't like being told what to do, and whilst that might be slightly true (no-one, ever, likes to be told what to do), sometimes someone comes up with a good idea. (See the What product would you like to see thread which has some really good ideas). It is actually because these threads very quickly degenerate into "Here's my idea", "that a rubbish idea" mudslinging, and no-one wants that.

There's also the problem that almost always, the ideas presented have already been discussed ad-nauseum either internally or here on the forums, or show a distinct lack of knowledge about the topic (especially when it comes to suggestions that require SoC respins - they are SOO expensive that almost always the suggestions are non-starters).

So, if you have a feature request, think very carefully before posting about it. Search first, consider costs, consider why it might be missing in the first place.
Hi,
May be you can post this on a sticky locked post in the general topic, with all redundant requests (micro HDMI, micro USB, 5V/5A USB PD, etc...)
If people actually read the stickies that would be worth a go....I might get something together just in case.
