Dear Raspberry Pi community,
How are you? Hope you are doing well.

Recently I faced a quite weird issue.
Suddenly my pico stopped working and I received the message "can't connect to the COM port".
I read a lot of materials and did a lot of stuff.
So I did:
- a deep clean using CircuitPython 9.0.0 (adafruit-circuitpython-raspberry_pi_pico-en_US-9.0.0.uf2)
- clean using mother firmware (flash_nuke.uf2)
- reinstalled the original firmware (RPI_PICO-20240222-v1.22.2.uf2)
Nothing help.

The weird thing is, when I install the original one - raspberry pins are working (I mean vcc and ground), but the device can't be recognize on the PC.
when I install CircuitPython 9.0.0 it connects to the PC and be executed. But... seems like in the flash there is my last project with blinking the Pin25 because after connecting it's blinking 3-4 times and then freeze... then blinks again and freeze.
When I plug it into Windows - USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. Recommendation: Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, your device may not be working properly.

My stuff:
- MacBook Pro M1
- Pico 2020 (without W)
- Visual Studio Code with MicroPico Device controller and Thonny

May I ask you to help please, guys.
Thank you so much,
With my best regards,
Ivan
