It's not such a shame, it still has 1 cycle 32bit multiplier, which is optional on M0+ but implemented on RP2040.
You can substantially overclock (200 MHz officially, more unoficially), can switch to RP2350, or both.![Smile :)]()
Can also use inline assembler, get rid of PUSH/POP, and let the compiler deal with register usage optimization (not really need to preserve R4).
