Yesterday I received my rpi5 and I have been configuring it and today pi day 3.14 is already working to my liking with a box adapted from others rpi and the result is very good in all aspects.
Congratulations to the rpi team for their great work.
It has been the fastest and easiest experience to configure of all the pi I have, which is quite a few.
The experience on YouTube 1920x1080p @30 is fantastic, far superior to a well configured rpi4.
The thermal part is perfectly resolved with the active cooler. I don't think it can be done better with so little space.
In short, ... very happy with my purchase.
It has been a 4Gb rpi5 using SD boot with a Lexar 128Gb A1.
The rpi5 significantly improves the rpi4 in all aspects.
I have done some tests with the sound level of the active cooler fan and although Raspbian's default settings are very good, I have fine-tuned them a little to my liking.
Next I show you some photos of the rpi5 and the test results.
Excellent rpi5.
