Hello all, I've been getting my Raspberry Pi 3B (Not B+) set up with a fresh install of Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm and I seem to have run into a strange issue with connecting to WiFi.
My router is an OpenWRT router. As part of the router's configuration, I can select the encryption method that will be used by the WiFi connection using this dialog: For security purposes, I have selected the option for usingWPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE mixed. However, when I try to connect my Pi 3 to the network using nmcli or nmtui, I get the following error message.
If I change the Encryption on the router to instead use the WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK mixed, suddenly everything works perfectly fine.
I would like to keep the networking using WPA2/WPA3, is there something I need to change in the Pi's configuration to be able to make this work?
