BTW what is the use of RH measures at very low temperatures?
edited : added https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-max ... -amplifier (is expensive, measures "only" temperature down to ... -100/-200 C but is very accurate. and pico can cope with analog data....)
Hmm - - - - using a bus expander - - - -I'm looking at 5+ of the outdoor use sensors - - - would rather use a senosr that's on a different bus.

Are there none that use a RS-485 or some other serial bus?

I think you meant that the DS18B20 reads only temperature. I already have some of those.
As to measuring humidity - - - nothing in the specs on that.

What use - - - - well this morning I had -27 C outside.
That's not too bad - - - - somewhat west of me on Sunday morning it was -45 C for a low.
Have experienced a three day period here when max T was -30 C min T was -36 C and the winds were stead 60 km/hr and gusts to 90 km/hr.
So I like to keep track of the weather. (I'm out in it every day (!!!).)
Indeed. DS18B20 only reads temperature.

If the sensor you want to use does not have the interface you want then you can put another microcontroller next to it to do a protocol conversion.

Hmmmmm - - - last time I checked the mcontrollers really don't like working in less than -10C kind of weather.
For temperatures over say 0 C that would work.

What do I do when its a lot less than that?

(This morning was even colder - - - - 29.1 C.)
