Oh it is the perfect level of sharpness now! Image may be NSFW.

I can see why someone would think that the previous Raspberry Pis were sharper, but it was the equivalent of taking an image editor and applying too much sharpness to a photo to the point you see artifacts everywhere. All my CRTs look better with the RPi 5! (Including an ancient one from the 1985.)
I have a question: At this point the only difference I notice is that all Raspberry Pis (3, 4 and 5) seem to have a higher brightness than any other devices, such as game consoles and signal converters... it causes black colors to appear dark gray instead of pure black, and every other color a bit brighter too. Just a bit, but I was able to notice it. It would be fixable by just lowering the brightness on the TV itself, but not every TV can go very low to make black colors look properly black. Does that sound like something you know of that it could be improved? Or maybe some simple settings I can add to my config.txt?
Thank you!
