So looks like the answer is yes - by actually connecting to mode A: USB - L76X.

hailo AI HAT should not need a GPIO, same as AI kit doesn't need any. So stacking with another HAT should be fine (as long as there is no EEPROM on address 0x50 on th4 second HAT).
