So far as I know, the Pi imager has nothing to do with boot order. Boot order can be set in raspi-config. If you're running something other than RPiOS, I've no idea how it could be used to set the boot order.I'm running Ubuntu on an SD card on my Pi 400. I'm trying to switch my boot order by following instructions on tomshardware.com (and elsewhere) which instruct that it should be done via the Pi Imager.
