Beginners • Re: Best raspi OS version for simple 4B use case

So to get back to my original request...

For a Pi 4B, can anyone suggest a recent/legacy version of Raspi OS that's free of these weird VLC issues and/or a Raspi OS that still included autohide as a menu-bar preference/option?
