There's a ton of self-help books. The "... For Dummies" series, for instance. The RPF has books, both hardcopy and downloadable PDFs for getting started, usually with "Getting Started" as part of the title. Or you could find out what your local junior college, college, or university uses for textbooks for entry level courses. Plus every Tom, Dick, and Harry seems to have tutorials or videos on various subjects.May I ask where I should look? When I say "beginner", I really do mean "beginner"!Perhaps you need to discover the Linux functional equivalents that already exist in ARM versions that can be run on the Pi simply by installing them.
So...the documentation you need to need to read is that on Linux...and there's a lot of it out there.
