I am trying to use the Adafruit DHT11 temperature/humidity sensor on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B without success
In all the forums, it talks about downloading the Adafruit drivers and starts with the following commend from the command prompt
sudo app update or sudo app-get update
However, in both cases, I get
sudo: app: command not found or sudo: app-get: command not found
The Raspberry pi is running the latest version of the OS. The contents of the etc/OS-release is:
PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)"
NAME="Debian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="12"
VERSION="12 (bookworm)"
VERSION_CODENAME=bookworm
ID=debian
HOME_URL-"https://www.debian.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="https://www.debian.org/support"
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.debian.org/"
Updates/patches have been accomplished with the GUI and the ‘download updates’ icon. The pi has full access to the internet. Thoughts???
