Hello,
I'm new to using the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) and its associated development board. Previously, I have experience with the standard Raspberry Pi 4B, but this is my first time using the CM4.
I have followed the official steps to install the Raspberry Pi OS onto an SD card. However, when I boot up the CM4 with the SD card inserted into the development board, I encounter some issues.
The boot process seems to start, but it fails to detect the SD card and attempts to boot from the network instead. Here are some details from the boot screen:
Bootloader version: 8ba17717 dated 2023/01/11
SD card: Not detected
Network boot: Attempted but no network connection established
Error messages: Include "Failed to open device: 'nvme'", and "PCIe timeout".
I have attached a photo of the boot screen showing these details.
I have ensured that the SD card is correctly inserted and the card itself works fine on a Raspberry Pi 4B. I'm unsure if there are specific settings or steps I should follow for the CM4 and its development board.
Could someone please guide me on how to resolve this issue? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
