I have gone through a number of tutorials, i think one of the main issues is that I'm trying to write python as i write IEC 61131-3 (programs for PLC programming were its much more bit-wise). Or i guess its a mixture of both which i guess makes it even more dodgy.
From your feedback and from some tutorials found based on your feedback the code is now very different and as you both mentioned (maybe mostly memjr)the code is now much more based on functions than on straight up importing modules.
