The clock is set by ntp. There is a program on the Pi that connects to an ntp server to fetch the current time and update the Pi.Hello,
Is there an easy way to prevent the RPI 5 clock from auto correcting to the correct time when connected to the internet; using Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit Debian Bookworm/Raspberry Pi Desktop (currently up to date).
For the program I am testing, I sometime intentionally set the time wrong. When not connected to the internet, the time just stays as it is set by me. However the moment it connects to the internet the time corrects to the actual time. Being able to disable this auto correction function would be very help, but I am not sure how to go about it.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Find the ntp client and disable it.
