So I've been going through your NAS Build PDF and it's been going swimmingly, which isn't bad considering I'm pretty much a Windows user.
I'm trying to build the More Secure Samba Server and I've successfully created the user I want to use under both Linux and Samba (BTW, I think your create samba user command might require an -a parameter) which mimics my Windows user and my /etc/samba/smb.conf contains the following (I know yours is simpler but I've been looking around the web as well) :
My problem is I can browse to \\<server name> and I can see the shared folder but I can't browse or map a derive to that folder.
Any ideas?
