in the meantime i suspect that the rc goes to sleep over night and stays asleep in the morning when pi boots.
to make it work, i have to press ab rc key, then remove it in bluetoothctl, do scan on, wait, then pair rc and connect.
this is rather annoying. is there another way to wake the rc up?
