Hi there! I'll answer your questions in order.Hello, I've been trying to find more information about a couple of things regarding RPi's.
I would like to get a NES case and an OS to consolify the experience and also have it connected to my CRT.
I would really appreciate if someone could answer the following.
1. Does the RPi5 have the NES case and the AV connector to use it in a CRT?
2. Can you play Sega Saturn, N64, PSX and Dreamcast on the RPi4?
3. What OS offers the best performance? I am only familiar with Batocera and that would be preferred but if something else offers better performance then I'll use it instead.
4. How much RAM will I need to emulate the consoles in the second question?
Thanks im advance.
1. The Pi doesn't ship with AV output. Only micro/mini HDMI (micro for the Pi 4). I imagine there's an adapter you can get though. As for a case, I'm sure you can find something on Thingiverse or a similar site to 3D print. Maybe even some pre-printed stuff on Amazon or ebay.
2. I don't know what PSX is. Playstation? If I recall, Pi 4 can play original Playstation, maybe PS2, but not really PS3 and up. N64 and Sega can definitely run.
3. I don't really have any knowledge on this. I've always just used Retropie Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

4. I'd recommend the 4GB RAM model. Plenty to run the underlying OS and emulator, and more than enough to run the games themselves (N64 uses only a few megabytes of RAM. The max RAM for the original console was only like 8MB with an expansion pack). RAM really doesn't seem like an issue until you get to more modern stuff.
Hope this helps a bit!
