cheers, isn't the OS Ham Pi based on raspberrypi OS its just an extra added into it for ham radio users, other than that the LCD screen is connected to the board via a little adaptor micro-HDMI to larger HDMI
Yes I am in Aus mate, and yes were I work we sell the LCD screen and raspberrypi products but not a lot of it because there's no real call for it in my town, I'm looking to set up a mobile set up and use the raspberrypi with my ham radio gear for software reason as in WJST-X and others and use SDR gear.
Anyway thanks for the advise, can't really aford any thing else unless you can recommend some thing up to the 7 inch LCD range and doesn't cost the bomb, other than that I'll flick the state REP and email and ask if any of there IT support team know how to get this 5 inch screen going, kinda pee's me off they sell stuff and no instructions come with it other than a straight forward pdf file on the product web site, if no answer from there IT team, I'll add it back in the system and let some one else buy it and get the head ache LOL and spend my $99 on another LCD screen some were else.
cheers guys and thanks for the relpy, my apologizes guys because am a newbie to raspberrypi equipment but a experienced Linux user
