Out of interest what sort of range line of sight do you get with it ?
The pi 5 with the usb adapter is one floor almost directly above. According to the applet the signal strength is roughly 55% to 60%.
Our products often go into locations where everybody is on Wifi trying to stream the event to their friends (and failing :-) but we do get constant blockages so have to retransmit commands all the time. I'll buy those items you mention and give them a try. Thanks.
I'd recommend using 2.4GHz or 5GHz in that situation. I'm only using 6GHz for this Pi to free up 5GHz entirely for my home lab server on the 2nd floor. I've gotten much better signal strength etc with 2.4 and 5. It really does feel like 6GHz is best for same room or in a room close by.
