Indeed I had, and actually a later '2.1.2', and I now have the latest '2.2'.Though I thought I had installed 'libgpiod v2.0.1'
But I only built them locally, eg '~/apps/libgpiod/2.2/libgpiod-2.2/tools/gpioinfo', and never set '--prefix' for the 'autogen.sh' so 'sudo make install' puts them in '/usr/local/bin', with the default '1.6.3' in '/usr/bin' still taking precedence.
I guess I did that, and left it that way, because I didn't want to risk trashing my system, causing problems Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

Anyway, glad to hear you got it sorted.
