Have you tried rebooting the router?

Yep, about a million times. lol.

I'm not having any trouble with other devices connecting to it.

I just did a quick search and it looks like the Pi is supposed to be able to connect to a 5GHz wifi connection. So that's still wrong I guess.

I did manage to get it to connect to the 2.4GHz wifi on the same router. It says my signal strength is 75 percent. Seems like that should be pretty good?
