So, if it's an image,, one byte represents 8 vertical pixels (col 0, rows 0-7)
Then moving horizontally, the next byte is another 8 vertical pixels. (col 1, rows 0-7)
This would be the first stream of data (you call it row1)

Then the next stream fills rows 8-15

And so on. Right ?

From a CSV file, on a PC?
