HATs and other add-ons • Pi HAT Power Supply interference

Hi ,

I am trying to design a Pi 4 HAT which has all my components on it. I found a PCB template which I am planning to use.

The Pi HAT will be get supply voltage from 2S-3S Lipo battery. I need to have a buck converter on my Pi HAT to step down the voltage to 5v (3A) for my Pi 4 and 3.3v (100mA) for my sensors and leds on my HAT.

My HAT shall contain IMU ( Acc , Gyro , Magno ) , Compass and GPS. I understood recently that the coil in the buck converter will generate electro-magnetic noise. I would assume that such noise can affect the Magno, Compass and GPS. I am not sure how much issues I can get from this interference but this is what I read on the internet.

I am looking for hints that can help me to reduce the interference of the buck converter on my sensors. any circuits that i can use that generate less noise?

Note: I thought to have the buck converter as external component but this won't my choice for now.
