An LE-based HID device using HOGP operates by means of notifications. When the HID device writes data to its Report characteristic, it is sent as a notification to the client. The client is waiting for these notifications, it does not poll the HID device to read the Report data. From the Report Map information, the client knows that the device is a mouse and interprets the notification data accordingly.
