I remember thinking ASYNC...great. There is no RX function. It makes sense for somethings but for everything else its kind of silly.

We do not have enough RAM to justify this level of IPC.

For high speed audio transmission it's ideal. Obviously an HSRX to match would have been better but hey ho. However without a way to provide a sync clock to the serialiser it's useless.
