The Realtek RTL8152 adapter works with the code on the develop branch in the Circle repo now. The problem was, that the USB configuration descriptor parser was working on a copy of the descriptor and not on the same configuration descriptor as the upper layer, which sets the alternate setting for the data interface in the end. That's why the wrong interface was enabled, which has no endpoints and thus the data transfers did not work.
