What is the simpliest way to run OS from pendrive on Raspberry Pi Zero WH? I have SDCard and OTG cable. I don't have HDMI for Pi so I rely on SSH.
I tried the metod with installing OS on pendrive and copying the bootcode.bin to FAT32 SD but nothing happens, probably not working because I don't see Pi on my WiFi network.
I don't have any experience with a Raspberry Pi Zero WH.
Assuming you can read and write the USB pendrive when booted from an SD card running Raspberry Pi OS...
Have you tried booting Raspberry Pi OS from an SD card and using usb-boot from the first post of this topic to migrate the SD card to the USB pendrive, answering the prompts as follows?:
Replicate BOOT/ROOT contents from /dev/mmcblk0 to /dev/sda?: YES
Select the partition table type to use (MBR = 2TB Maximum): MBR
Upon completion, the SD card must be left in place in order to boot the USB pendrive.
