Raspberry Pi OS • UTF8 Latin-1 Supplement not supported in Playlists?

I assume Owntone does not support special characters from the UTF8 Latin-1 Supplement Character Set in playlists.

I have a playlist with the song

Áhččai (To My Father).m4a

and owntone cannot assign this Playlist entry to the correct song. The hex UTF8 encoding of č is

c4 8d

.

Can anyone confirm this assumption?
