50C is generally considered too hot to keep a finger on and that's well below the safe operating temperature of the components the cooler is cooling, so probably normal.RPI 5 Active cooler gets hot even when its off, i cannot even touch it. is t hat normal?
But if you mean it's getting hot or hotter when the Pi 5 is shutdown that would be unusual.
Perhaps better detail what you mean by "off".
