Hi there,
I've got my eye on a Fosi Audio V3 amplifier for a project connecting a Raspberry Pi to an in-ceiling speaker.
I'm a programmer and hifi enthusiast, but not too experienced with electronics... what would be involved in controlling this amplifier's volume with the Pi? I'd like to avoid attenuating the signal digitally (via ALSA or similar) as I'm aiming for somewhat high-fidelity sound.
I'm thinking along the lines of replacing the volume pot on the amp with something controlled by the Pi. Is it possible and/or straightforward?
Thanks, Dave
