Unfortunately, mutter isn't a supported Wayland window manager - rpi-connect only supports Wayfire and labwc today, which are in turn supported by Raspberry Pi OS. Your best path to using Raspberry Pi Connect Screen Sharing today is to use the Raspberry Pi OS desktop - but I don't know of anyone having tried that on trixie as yet.WM: Mutter (Wayland)
KDE users have a similar problem - the default KDE WM, KWin, does not support the extensions we require to operate.
