Hello All,
I am facing an issue with the Raspberry Pi 5, which is powered by a third-party power supply through GPIO pins using 2x 5V Dupont and 2x GND Dupont connectors, each with a wire gauge of 22AWG. The adapter provides 5V at 7A. I have added the line usb_max_current_enable=1 in the config.txt file and set PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000 in the EEPROM config file.
After restarting my Raspberry Pi 5 by using a terminal command, no message appears. However, when I completely turn off the main adapter switch and then turn it back on, a message appears on the taskbar once the desktop loads, stating: 'This power supply is incapable of supplying 5A. Peripherals will be restricted.
What is the cause of the pop-up message occurring after turning off the main switch and rebooting?
I have attached the images for reference
Thanks in Advance![Smile :)]()
