Troubleshooting • Re: booting an old model 1B

So this is where I stand:

I have tried 3 power adapters and a power bank. With the power bank I was able to boot the device several times a few days ago, now all I get is a red led will all of them.

I have tried 2 sd-cards. One is from years back, it was still in the pi when I found it, the other is a micro-sd in an adapter that I created myself with dd on linux. I booted from both cards successfully in the past, now I cannot boot from either.
I cannot check the sd-card as I lack a reader but I have checked the partitions and the filesystems on the micro-sd on my pc and everything looks ok.

All contacts look fine, the device is sitting on a piece of cork, the only things connected are ethernet, power and the sd-card.

But it does not boot, no green led at all (not even a flicker), only solid red.
