My question right now is whether it's possible to find two sufficiently low power 4TB NVMe drives that could work in one of those dual m.2 hats that include a PCIe switch for the Pi 5. If your SSDs are particularly slow and small, chances are they use less power than fast or larger SSDs.

I'm wondering if a 4TB SSD would be a bad idea from reliability and performance points of view due to the use of QLC flash. I found it amazing extended write speed fell below the performance of conventional spinning disks.

While greater storage space seems an effective selling point, are there SSDs with single-level cell flash designed for endurance and reliability?
