When I saw the title, I honestly thought we were talking about the sleep-aid drug.

You know, the one with the butterflies.
There is also Armbian which is an Ubuntu Linux derivative with an assortment of boot images for many ARM-based single-board computers.

A build is included in RetroPi, but RetroPi--based on the Buster version of Raspberry Pi OS--is now so retro it may not work on current hardware.

I'd suggest installing the latest Raspberry Pi OS and then compile uae4arm from the link above. I don't know how hard that might be, as I've never tried. Since uae4arm explicitly targets Raspberry Pi, hopefully not too difficult.

It appears uae4arm relies on SDL1 to manage it's input and output. I believe Wayland support is for SDL3, so it may be necessary to switch Raspberry Pi OS back to X Windows for good results.
